The UK early years market remains highly fragmented and continues to see strong deal activity, with quality small to medium-sized regional groups being particularly sought after.
UK-based mid-market private equity firms continue to play a key role in this, however international interest has been a core theme in recent years, with three of the largest nursery groups now owned by European operators.
