Acquisition of ID Medical by Aya Healthcare


  • A significant deal for US corporate, Aya Healthcare, entering the UK market with the acquisition of ID Medical

  • One of the largest healthcare staffing companies in the UK, ID Medical provides healthcare workforce solutions, with 100,000 shifts available every month and regularly working with 95% of NHS Trusts

  • Aya Healthcare is the largest US healthcare staffing firm, following significant growth through acquisition in recent years

  • The deal will enable both parties to share the best practices from their respective markets, while ID will make Aya’s market leading technology available for the NHS and UK based clinicians


A&M Capital‘s acquisition of GBUK Group


  • A&M Capital Europe (AMCE) has acquired a majority stake in medical device supplier, GBUK Group, from H2 Equity Partners

  • Yorkshire-based GBUK Group is a top 20 supplier to the NHS, designing and distributing its own and third party branded medical devices to the NHS and other healthcare professionals in 45 countries

  • The business specialises in devices covering enteral feeding, vascular access, patient handling and the broader critical care environment

  • Following the deal, GBUK intends to pursue bolt-on acquisitions, focusing primarily on proprietary medical device specialists in the United Kingdom and broader European and North American markets


H2 Equity Partner’s investment in Medical Imaging Systems


  • A successful investment for H2 Equity Partners in imaging provider Medical Imaging Systems (MIS)

  • MIS is a medical equipment distributor and service provider, working with global equipment manufacturers to supply MRI, CT, ultrasound and radiography equipment to the diagnostic imaging market

  • Focused on the UK and RoI markets, the business works with customers across the healthcare market, including leading NHS Trusts and private medical groups, as well as dentistry and veterinary

  • Following the deal, the existing management team will continue to lead the business in delivering its growth strategy


Acquisition of Chelsea Home Physio by Six Physio


  • A strategic addition for Six Physio (part of Ascenti), with the acquisition of Chelsea Home Physio

  • Chelsea Home Physio, a home physiotherapy provider, employs 11 clinicians with expertise in neurological, orthopaedic and respiratory physio

  • The complementary service offering of Chelsea Home Physio will allow Six Physio to expand into home visit services

  • Since bd Capital’s investment into Ascenti in 2021, the group has made multiple acquisitions, including the addition of Six Physio in 2022

  • The deal highlights continued M&A activity across the physio market, driven by a small number of private equity-backed consolidators
